Hennessey Performance’s 6,440 pound HP Mammoth 1200 RAM TRX pickup truck is a beast, literally, powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 tuned with new pulleys, spark plugs, and an ECU tune, to produce 1,200 hp.
As for the 3,354 pound Ford GT, it’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine making 647 hp, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The biggest difference between the two vehicles are their starting prices, as the truck starts at just under $100,000 USD, while the 2017 Ford GT sets you back at least $453,750. These two vehicles participated in two races, with the first one showing that power matters more than just weight.
