While Venom F5 Roadster is the world’s most powerful open-top hypercar, the Hennessey Venom 1200 Mustang GT500 is right up there, speed wise. Its 5.2L V8 engine has been upgraded with a higher capacity 3.8-liter supercharger, a high-flow induction system, new fuel rails and injectors, and an air/oil separation system, generating a combined 1,204 hp and 902 lb-ft of torque.
There will only be 66 examples of the Venom 1200 built worldwide and owners will have the choice of adding the historic 1966 24 Hours of Daytona Ford Mark II GT40 red, white, and black livery to their build for an additional $4,950 USD. Unlike other modifications, the $59,950 Venom 1200 package comes with a comprehensive 1-year / 12,000-mile warranty.
