The BMW M8 Gran Coupe Concept (above video) was unveiled earlier this year, but for those who can’t wait for its official launch, German tuner AC Schnitzer have just debuted the next best thing. Based on the G15 BMW 8-Series, it features a suspension spring kit and a host of aerodynamic components developed for maximum downforce and balance. The production pieces will all be made from super-light carbon. Read more for additional pictures and information.
“Once the project is finished, customers will be able to spec their 8-Series with carbon front spoiler elements, a matching front splitter, carbon side wings, and carbon covers for the vents. At the rear, downforce is provided by the carbon ‘Racing’ wing and the carbon diffuser, while a set of carbon side skirts is also present to connect the front and rear of the car,” according to Car Scoops.
