There’s the minimalist Braun instant camera, and then photographer Bjørn Karmann’s Paragrphica, which uses location data to describe the place you are at and then converts that into an AI-generated photo. Even though it may look like something from a science fiction film, the camera functions much like a normal one, as in you point and shoot.

After pressing the shutter button, the touchscreen LCD at the rear shows an AI-generated photo. How does it work? The camera uses the GPS location data to generate a prompt, which is then processed by Stable Diffusion. Hardware wise, it boasts a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B running a custom web app to generate the prompt and then a 3D-printed enclosure.
