This Airstream x Porsche Travel Trailer Concept combines form and function into a sleek package ready to go anywhere. You’ll be able to see a 1/3 scale model at Porsche’s SXSW exhibit in Austin, Texas, where the automotive brand is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2023.
Featuring a pop-up roof and a sleek exterior designed to reduce protrusions that create aerodynamic drag. Many of the trailer’s systems are nestled inside the 10-inch-deep space below the floor, such as the hot water and heating components, spare wheel, holding tanks, and lithium battery. The Airstream x Porsche Travel Trailer Concept is also the first one that can be parked in some garages, thanks to its pop-up roof, which reduces overhead clearance. When you step inside, there’s a lounging area that converts from dinette seating to an 82″ x 61″ sleeping area, while a wet bath in the front roadside corner sports a door to create a private showering area. Unfortunately, it can’t charge your electric car like the Polydrops P17X Explorer.

Innovation is the art of discovering the possible. Our collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche brought talented new eyes and minds to our never-ending process of improving the Airstream experience. It’s a fresh design approach aimed at reaching a broader, more diverse base of potential customers,” said Bob Wheeler, Airstream President and CEO.
