A McLaren F1 LM replica just isn’t the same as its real-life counterpart, but the Alpine A110 R Fernando Alonso Edition is a nice alternative. Limited to 32-units worldwide, it’s only available in Racing Matte Blue, the same color used on Alonso’s Formula 1 A522 race car, while the front / rear carbon-fiber bonnets are partially finished in a matching scheme.
Power comes from a turbocharged 1.8L four-cylinder engine generating 297 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Other features include orange brake calipers that commemorate Fernando Alonso’s historic colors, grey edges on the rims, a blue-orange-yellow flag on the rear quarter windows in the driver’s trademark colors, and a varnish protected ‘Fernando Alonso’ signature. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, although it’s confirmed to not be headed to the US.
