It started out as a Ferrari F12, but after countless hours of work, the supercar became the Veloqx Fangio. The name pays tribute to five-time F1 championship winner Juan Manuel Fangio, but the vehicle itself is just a prototype for a Le Mans racer that aims to hit the track by 2025. The powertrain is being modified to utilize multiple fuels, including biofuel, while a variable zero-emission fuel combustion engine is also planned.
There is no confirmation on whether the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta or TdF engine was used, but if the former, it’s a 6.3L V12 engine making 730 hp and 508 lb-ft of torque. Aesthetically, the Veloqx Fangio has a bespoke body kit, which took 3-years of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) research, that not only looks hyper aggressive, but consists of parts that all serve a function, mainly to maximize aerodynamic efficiency.
