
The AOKZOE A1 has been revealed, and it’s the first mass-produced handheld game console to be powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor with Radeon 680M graphics. You also get an 8-inch (1920 x 1200) IPS LCD display, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-6400 RAM, and an M.2 2280 slot for a PCIE solid-state drive.
Available in AOKZOE A1: Standard or Ultimate editions, the former weighs in at 689 grams boasting a 48 Wh battery while the Ultimate version is slightly heavier at 729 grams and has a larger 65 Wh battery, with boast supporting 100W fast charging. The two models both measure 285 x 125 x 21mm and feature a microSD card slot, stereo speakers, support for WiFi 6 as well as Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. There’s no word yet on pricing, but the company announced that pre-orders may open up later this month and shipments beginning some time in September. As for laptops, there’s this AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950x powered beast.
