Apocalypse Manufacturing has transformed Dodge’s Ram 1500 TRX into an off-road beast by installing a custom-built middle axle to create a 6-wheel-drive machine. It’s still powered by a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 engine churning out 750hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, mated to a TorqueFlite 8HP70 transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds. This monstrous machine is headed to the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale with no reserve price on January 29th. Read more for a video, additional pictures and information.
To help it navigate unknown terrain, the Warlord comes equipped with four rear 37-inch all-terrain tires mounted on 20-inch Fuel wheels, while a seventh spare is aesthetically secured atop the pickup bed. As for the suspension, it has the all-new Bilstein TRX e2 shock system, claimed to be the most sophisticated ever offered on a production truck, thanks to eight different drive/traction modes (sport, snow, custom, Baja, rock, mud/sand), which can all be controlled from the huge electronic center touchscreen.

The TRX starts life as the fastest production truck ever, taking the top spot in its battle for horsepower supremacy battle with Ford and their F-150 Raptor,” said Barrett-Jackson.
