We’re just a little over a month away from the Tesla Cybertruck delivery event on November 30, and one fan spotted something unusual on public roads this week…a ballistics-tested prototype. Elon Musk said on X that the team emptied the entire drum magazine of a Tommy gun into the driver door.

Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen showed that the initial Cybertruck concept’s window was not able to withstand the impact of a steel ball, but the flat sheets of unpainted stainless steel on this prototype appears to handle bullets quite well. Unfortunately (or fortunately), there’s still no word yet on when or if we’ll see a production version of the Tesla Cyberquad ATV.
