Photographer Benj Haisch was on vacation in Europe when his camera gear was stolen, but thanks to a cleverly placed Apple AirTag, he was able to track down the thieves and confront them. Inside the Clever Supply Co. bag, there was a Sony a9 III camera, a Hasselblad 907X sporting a CFV 100c back, a Leica 50mm Summilux, a Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH lens, and lots more.
All the footage you see here during the confrontation in Copenhagen, Denmark was filmed on Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, and it’s safe to say that these thieves just took advantage of a mistake made by Haisch. Rather than a snatch and grab robbery, he basically forgot his camera bag in the bike buggy after arriving back to the apartment he was staying in.
