BMW Motorsport reveals their latest track-only model, the M2 CS Racing. Priced from €95,000 ($105,160), this compact racer draws power from an S55 2.9-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine producing between 280 hp – 365 hp depending on the Balance of Performance classification for racing and 405 pound-feet of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission from the M2 CS road car. Sound and performance are provided by a motorsport-specific exhaust system, complete with racing catalytic converters. For weight reduction purposes and an even lower center of gravity, the roof is made of lightweight torsion-resistant carbon. It comes equipped with ABS / DSC standard and delivery of the M2 CS Racing is expected being in mid-2020.
