Boeing 737 MAX Emergency Door Alaska Airlines
An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX emergency door suddenly blew out approximately six-minutes after takeoff and had to make an unplanned landing at Portland International Airport (PDX) after the cabin depressurized.

This aircraft was headed from PDX to ONT in Ontario, California and fortunately, there was nobody sitting in the seat that got pulled out of the cabin in that row. Port of Portland’s fire department was quick to responded to the plane after it landed and only had to treat minor injuries. Just one person had to be escorted from the scene for additional medical treatment. Alaska Airlines announced this morning that they would be grounding their entire fleet of 65 Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft until they are each individually inspected and tested.
