Boeing reveals the first unmanned Loyal Wingman aircraft prototype designed for the Royal Australian Air Force. Their main goal is to extend and protect existing aircraft, making them the foundation for the global Boeing Airpower Teaming System aircraft to be developed for other global forces. These high-tech drones offer fighter-like performance with the ability to fly over 2,000 nautical miles (2,300 statute miles), and this prototype will start ground testing, with taxi tests and flight tests due later this year.
