Converting a Nissan Skyline R32 into a Camaro may be considered quite strange to say the least, turning a Chevrolet Camaro into a tiny solar-powered home on wheels is just downright practical. Arslan of Solar Camper Car did just that and it took over 2-years of living in cars exclusively to gain all the knowledge necessary for the build.
Despite being in a car, there is a mini kitchenette with a sink, an electric ceramic cooker powered by a portable battery pack connected to a roof-mounted 1,000 watt solar panel system, and plenty of storage for utensils, food, etc. The major downside is the lack of a toilet, so he relies on a urinal bottle, while showering as well as other duties take place in a gym. Arslan uses the money saved on rent towards his school tuition.
