Some new footage has emerged of what could quite possibly be China’s triangular 6th-generation fighter jet chasing a two-seat Chengdu J-20S. We can see that it has a tailless design, along with a modified delta wing as well as a central fuselage section that appears to be inspired by the J-20.
Its broad nose could indicate side-by-side crew seating, but there are no clear shots of the canopy to accurately determine if it has a single-seat or two-seat configuration. The split flaps that you see near the wingtips would be used to provide yaw control in the absence of tail control surfaces, as well as deploying simultaneously to function as air brakes.
