A cylindrical, disc-less Xbox Series X refresh, codenamed Brooklin, may have been leaked in an FTC filing. This new console features 2TB of storage, a front USB-C port, Wi-Fi 6E support, Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and a PSU with a low-power mode.
Microsoft purportedly wants to keep the same $499 price tag, while including a new more immersive controller, codenamed Sebille. Sporting a white and black color scheme, it boasts Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, support for a direct connection to the cloud, precision haptic feedback, and VCA haptics that double as speakers. The controller should also have whisper quiet buttons / thumbsticks and a swappable, rechargeable battery. According to the launch timelines chart, a new Xbox Series S should be launching in September 2024, with the refreshed Xbox Series X releasing a month later.
