DJI Mavic Mini
DJI’s yet to be announced Mavic Mini drone fits in the palm of your hand, and due to its ultra lightweight design, you won’t have to register it with the FAA. This leak comes courtesy of Newegg Canada, and from the data gathered, it weighs in at a svelte 249 grams, which puts it right under the 250 grams limit for FAA registration requirements. When fully charged, you can expect flight time of around 30 minutes, and it’s set to retail at $495 USD. Camera wise, it comes equipped with a 2.7k shooter attached to a 3-axis gimbal for ultra stable footage. Other new features include a ‘vision sensor’ and ‘GPS Precise Hover’, with the former being an obstacle detection system. The Mavic Mini should be officially announced this week, and we’ll keep you posted on any new information.
