DJI Modify is the company’s first intelligent 3D model editing software, designed to work seamlessly alongside DJI’s enterprise drones as well as 3D mapping software, DJI Terra. When combined, the suite offers a comprehensive solution for aerial surveying, modeling, as well as model editing, to meet the operational needs for many industries like firefighting.
The software’s intelligent editing tools are a breeze to use and do not require complex settings, as model files can be quickly imported as well as exported. Future updates will allow processed models to be shared direct to the cloud for online viewing and with web links without software installation. Its intelligent auto-repair editing supports flattening, editing textures, repairing water surfaces, removing floating parts, and filling holes. The public beta is available now here, and the software will be priced at $1,580 USD.

Complex model processing work has been a challenge for the aerial survey industry for a long time. As DJI‘s first intelligent 3D model editing software, DJI Modify has completed the last piece of the puzzle in DJI’s entire enterprise solution from data collection, data processing, to model editing. We believe this will lead the editing of live 3D models to a more intelligent new realm, empowering surveyors, transportation operators, and first responders to improve their workflow,” said Christina Zhang, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at DJI.
