Sure, the Rimac Nevera may be faster, but electrical engineer Marcel Paul from Germany now officially holds the Guinness World Record for world’s fastest ride-on toy car after hitting 92mph at Hockenheimring.
Marcel Paul, a student at Fulda University of Applied Sciences, spent 10-months researching and building this electric ride-on toy car specifically to set a Guinness World Records title on the Hockenheimring circuit in Germany. There’s no word yet on if we’ll see a next-generation model.

This resulted in a ten-month research period and a construction project that was completed in July. Marcel said it was his personal goal to exceed the 88 mph (141.62 km/h) required for time travel by the DeLorean in the cult film Back to the Future,” said Guinness World Records.
