The new Ford Mustang Bullitt is powered by a Coyote 5.0-liter V8 producing 480 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual with active rev matching. This makes it formidable on both the streets as well as the track. AutoTopNL decided to go for a high speed run at none other than the Autobahn in Germany, and yes, it’s safe to say that they definitely hit the electronically limited top speed of 162 mph. Even more surprising is that third gear is good for speeds well beyond 100 mph, making canyon runs or just casual street / highway driving, an almost entirely single-gear endeavor. You’ll notice immediate responses from its steering and brakes, as just small, precise inputs are required to make impressive speed.
