Fortnite Theme Park

The Fortnite booth at Gamescom 2018, a video game convention held in Cologne, Germany, is not just a place to check out new content and merchandise, but rather a mini theme park in disguise. Epic Games decided to add a slide, allow visitors to shoot baskets, have pickaxe duels, ride a zip-line glider, and even a mechanical rocket. Continue reading for another video and more information.

“While the novelty alone would explain why so many people are descending on the Fortnite booth, it also helps that there’s exclusive swag such as t-shirts and pins available at the booth, items which are often sold for good money online. Fans who complete the obstacle course can also win prizes such as exclusive in-game sprays, all of which is tracked by a special Gamescom ‘battle pass,'” reports The Verge.
