The 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 Sedan is already combines sheer luxury with extreme performance, but G-Power decided to take things to the next level. To accomplish these numbers, the engine’s hardware and software were heavily modified. Read more for a video, additional pictures and information.
Performance Software V3 was used for the electronic tuning, and it remapped the ECU while leaving the engine protection functions as well as the diagnostic capabilities unaffected. The turbocharges now boast CNC-machined cases and aero-optimized turbine wheels to “deliver incomparably better performance compared to the series components,” according to the company.
“Other changes consist of the addition of stainless steel downpipes (including a catalytic converter) and a stainless steel exhaust system. Rounding off the tuned Merc, which you can check out in the following video, is a set of 21-inch Hurricane RR alloys with a jet black diamond finish,” said Car Scoops.
