World of Warcraft Westfall

Gamer Daniel L. has recreated World of Warcraft’s Westfall, the abandoned agricultural center and low level zone of the Alliance that borders the Elwynn Forest, with Unreal Engine 4. In the early build video, you’ll enter Westfall from the Elwynn Forest. “I wonder if we’ll see this zone in the upcoming movie. Based on what we’ve seen so far, its aesthetics would be similar to this,” says Kotaku’s Gergo Vos. Continue reading for the video, plus a bonus clip.

“Westfall borders the Elwynn Forest and prior to the events of Cataclysm, was mostly populated by humans not under the Alliance’s complete control. The region was stolen right under the Alliance’s nose by its own bitter people. Once a rich agricultural center, this land has lain fallow and forgotten since the Second War, but was held by the Defias Brotherhood for a time before the Cataclysm. Stormwind claimed the land as its own, but found little time to be concerned with it, with insufficient funds and might to retake the region,” according to WoW Wiki.
