Drone fans rejoice! Here’s something you don’t see everyday, a drone that is used specifically for cleaning subway trains, but that’s where the GHOST Drone by Off Garage Studio comes in. As you can guess, this quadcopter is simply docked on the train and then deployed when the cars are retired for the night. After it enters one of the trains, it activates its UV light system and then the LEDs get to work sterilizing everything from the seats, walls to the floors. How does it avoid hitting something? It’s equipped with an all-way-sensor to ensure bump-free flight and the most efficient sterilization process possible. The light goes out, and during the time everyone is asleep, ‘GHOST’ will float for hygienic subway service. You could also have a few of these docked around the stations and have them sanitize the turnstiles, benches, etc. at night.
