The Google Pixel 7a smartphone is set to be announced in May at the annual I/O conference, but a prototype has already leaked. Designated as Model GH1LX, we can see it features a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Google Tensor GT2 chipset, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of internal storage from SK Hynix / Micron, a single SIM card slot, and a USB-C port at the bottom
What really sets it apart from its predecessors is a the rear camera bar, which packs two sensors, a 64MP main and 12MP ultra-wide. From the renders and hands-on pictures, the handset roughly measures 6.0″ x 2.87″ x 0.35″ and doesn’t appear to be any thicker. It’s rumored to be priced from $449 USD, just like the Google Pixel 6a. As for battery, we’re expecting a 4,410mAh cell that should be good for up to 14-hours on a full charge, depending on usage.
