A Google filing from the Japan Patent Office (JPO) that was released on June 28, 2021 shows a tablet of sorts that resembles its yet to be released Pixel 6 smartphone, which is set to be unveiled on October 27, 2021. The patent sketches appear to have an all-screen design with ultra-thin bezels and rounded corners. Flip the device around, and you’ll find a rear housing that matches the front, but without a camera. Read more for the patent and additional pictures.
There may not be a rear camera pictured, but it’s confirmed to have a hole-punch selfie camera, a quad speaker setup (two up top + two at the bottom), and a USB-C port at the bottom. Depending on its release date, it should be running some form of Android 12, which features a more personalized experience, fluid motion + animations, redesigned system spaces, and more.
