Google Project Wing Drone Delivery
Google’s Project Wing has just received approval for one of the world’s first commercial drone delivery services in Canberra, Australia. Simply put, users order through an app, and then the deliveries are made by drone within minutes. Aside from fresh coffee, you can also choose from a selection of fresh food, medicine and even ice cream.

Wing thinks that drone deliveries could be worth between AU$30 and AU$40 million to local firms, and that drones could deliver one in every four takeaway orders by 2030. Wing became a complete firm within the Alphabet corporate umbrella this year, among the likes of Waymo and Loon, after previously being classified as an X moonshot project.
