Insomniac Games is bringing their action platformer franchise to the all-new Sony PS5. Introducing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which shows the famous duo hopping between dimensions using portals, showcasing the console’s power. This game was built from the ground up on the PlayStation 5 platform and makes use of the DualSense controller’s feedback. Read more for the trailer and additional information.
One thing we do know is that it follows the original storyline that takes place in a science fiction setting and follows the adventures of Ratchet (a feline humanoid known as a Lombax, a mechanic of sorts) and Clank (a small, sentient Zoni robot) as they travel through the universe, saving it from dark forces that consistently threaten it. This game will be a launch title when the PS5 is released this holiday season.
