Intuitive Machines Nova-C Lunar Lander IM-1 Mission Launch SpaceX
Intuitive Machines’ Nova-C class lunar lander is now encapsulated within SpaceX’s payload fairing in preparation for launch aboard a Falcon 9 rocket on Feb. 14 from Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.



IM-1 will be Intuitive Machines’ first attempted lunar landing as part of NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (“CLPS”) initiative, a key part of NASA’s Artemis lunar exploration efforts. It’s set to carry science and technology payloads to the lunar surface as part of CLPS intend to lay the foundation for human missions as well as a sustainable human presence on the Moon.
