Many were expecting Apple to introduce a new iPhone SE model this year, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. However, there’s always 2019, and one possible concept that could become reality is the iPhone XL, an iMac G3-inspired device that comes in several different neon colors. Deutsche Securities analyst Jialin Lu claimed that Apple was planning to release at least one iPhone with a triple-lens setup on at least one of its 2019 models to improve AR capabilities. “We don’t know much about the chip right now, but if history is any indication, look for it to be even more powerful than the A12 Bionic chip you can get in the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. That enhanced power usually translates to better processing power and better graphics performance, but we expect another leap in machine learning via Apple’s neural engine,” reports Tom’s Guide.
