A jellyfish-like unidentified flying object was spotted over Russia’s Amur Oblast recently, and it baffled local residents in the area. One person said that it appeared to be a comet at first, but it flew in such a slow manner that he realized it was some kind of rocket or flying machine. Shortly after entering the atmosphere, it exploded into a jellyfish pattern similar accompanied by a sound of o blast.
Someone familiar with the matter said that it was most likely the Soyuz 2.1b carrier rocket from Vostochny Cosmodrome that transported a payload of OneWeb satellites. Another possible theory is that it was a satellite re-entering the atmosphere with lithium burning off towards the end causing the bizarre pattern in the sky.
