Jet Engine Star Wars Land Speeder
You’ve seen a real-life Star Wars Podracer, now check out this ride-on Star Wars Landspeeder toy powered by a jet engine. Inventor Joel Creates decided that the 12-volt motors that the X-34 Landspeeder came with just aren’t powerful enough, so a small R/C jet engine was installed out back to give it a little more oomph…or not.

This mod wasn’t the toughest, as it only required you to remove the motors and install new wheels before adding the jet engine at back of the Landspeeder controlled with a standard 2-channel R/C transmitter. Everything worked, but the wheel configuration meant that it was only capable of performing donuts at first. Once the rear wheels were locked in place, the speeder moved as intended. Let’s just say that it probably needs another jet engine to reach a decent speed, although riding this around an empty parking structure does seem qutie fun.
