CarWow pit the Lamborghini Revuelto against the Tesla Model S Plaid in a drag racing showdown to see if Elon Musk’s sporty electric vehicle is faster than an actual hybrid supercar. Priced from $81,490 in the US, the 4,828 pound EV is powered by three electric motors generating 1,020 hp and 1,047 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in 1.99 seconds.
The 3,913 pound Lamborghini Revuelto boasts a 6.5L V12 engine, paired with three electric motors, that generate a combined 1,001 hp and 794 lb-ft of torque, helping it accelerate from 0-60 mph in a mere 2.3 seconds, while topping out at 218 mph. We won’t spoil the results, but will say that one vehicle most certainly required some heavy maintenance after two runs.
