The LEGO Group partnered with Universal Brand Development to reveal a new three-in-one reproduction of the Back to the Future Time Machine. The set (10300) consists of 1,872-pieces and has all the parts you need to recreate the car from either the first, second or third movie, complete with a light-up flux capacitor, a box of plutonium, Marty’s hoverboard as well as LEGO minifigure versions of Doc Brown and Marty McFly. Read more for two videos, including a hands-on review.
In addition to the flux capacitor, it keeps the wheels that fold down for flight mode, printed dashboard dates, gull-wing doors that open up, and several more Easter eggs, like swappable license plates. Some bonuses include a banana and tin can to power the Mr. Fusion device as seen in the first film of the trilogy. Available April 1st 2022, priced at $169.99 USD, directly from the LEGO website and stores.
- Head Back to the Future in the iconic, time-traveling DeLorean!
- Complete with working lights and the must-have flux capacitor, the DeLorean is ready to go once Dr. Emmett Brown arrives with the plutonium cores!
- Then the action begins as Marty McFly and the good doctor travel back in time, along with trusty old Einstein. The duo is sporting their 1985 outfits
Universal, Amblin Entertainment and the Back to the Future filmmakers are delighted to have partnered with the LEGO team in the creation of this fantastic kit. In the movie, Doc Brown spent almost 30 years and his entire family fortune to build his Time Machine. Fortunately, you’ll be able to build this LEGO model in significantly less time and with far less expense – although your completed version will be unable to travel through time!,” said Bob Gale, co-writer and co-producer of the trilogy.
