To celebrate expanding digital collectible NFTs to 100 more countries on Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg announced today that he is minting his old autographed little league baseball card as a digital collectible. Believe it or not, this is a real card owned by Metropolis | Comic Connect that Mark Zuckerberg had personally made to give to his favorite camp counselor, Allie Tarantino, back in 1992.

Allie most certainly accepted the gift and then had him autograph it, just like a real baseball superstar would. Fast forward to 30-years later, and it has now been graded by SGC, with documents authenticating the card’s manufacturing history as well as his attendance at Camp Elmwood. One thing just as impossible to obtain would probably be attempting to catch the baseball shot out of a specialized 1,000mph cannon.

Mark was one of my campers and one day he came in with this card and gave it to me — I was stunned that he was on it! I had never seen a Little League baseball card before, so I asked him to sign it for me. I never could have guessed what amazing things he would do!,” said Allie Tarantino.
