This isn’t the $400 model you saw last year, but rather an all-new Hot Wheels 1:10 R/C Cybertruck that now includes a free-rolling Cyberquad that can be added or removed from the open truck bed. Featuring fully-functional headlights and taillights for night driving as well as speeds of up to 12 mph, complete with a matching controller that looks similar to the new steering wheels found in the refreshed Tesla Model S / X. Mattel did send out a few prototype units to social media influencers earlier this month, and from what we can see, it’s well worth the money. Unfortunately, this Tesla Cybertruck is going to be a limited edition release, priced at a reasonable $100. How can you get on? Well, Mattel is opening up pre-orders on 5/21/21 to anyone, with a limit of 5-units per household. Shipments will begin in September, or at the latest 9/15/21.
