The new Mercedes Benz Tourrider buses will let you travel in pure comfort, specially designed for the North American market. Available in Tourrider Business and Tourrider Premium models, each one is a three-axle high-deck coach with a length of 45’/13.72 m. The former boasts individual dome headlamps, while the Tourrider Premium sports LED integral headlamps. One feature that separates the Premium apart from the Business is the option to install a Top Sky Panorama glass roof.
Power comes from a 12.8L inline 6-cylinder Mercedes-Benz OM 471 engine producing 450 hp and 1550 lb-ft of torque, mated to an Allison WTB 500R torque converter automatic transmission. For added safety, it comes equipped with a 360-degree camera system, along with two LED headlamp systems. An optional radar-based Sideguard Assist cornering assistant with pedestrian detection means that if a moving object is detected, the system issues a warning to the driver.
