Similar to the N64 SP Version 2, the Mercury64 is essentially a Nintendo 64 portable concealed with the shell of an original SEGA Game Gear console. The functional cartridge slot works as it would on its real-life counterpart, while the buttons and directional pad are from a 3rd-party controller.
Unlike other custom creations, Mercury64 has three buttons for screen settings, ensure that things are looking optimal at all times. Not only that, but it apparently supports N64 Rumble Pak games as well like Donkey Kong 64, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, and Perfect Dark. For those who don’t know, the Rumble Pak basically added 4MB of additional RAM, increasing the total to 8MB available for games to use.
