Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.25.9.0 World Update Italy Malta
Players running Microsoft Flight Simulator version 1.25.9.0 will be able to download World Update IX: Italy right now. The team has not only faithfully recreated the historic cities of Rome and Venice, but also the Mediterranean coastlines, complete with its sheer-faced peaks. These are all rendered using the latest geospatial data available, including digital elevation modeling.

Aerial / satellite imagery and triangulated irregular network (TIN) were also used to model the 20 cities in this update, including Rome, Naples, Venice, as well as Milan. Gaya Simulations built four airports from scratch: Sicily’s Palermo Airport (LICJ), Sondrio Airport (LILO) in the southern Tyrol, Elba Island’s Marina di Campo Airport (LIRJ), and Bolanzo Airport (LIPB) in the southern Tyrol. Unfortunately, the 3rd century Roman mosaic floor discovered in Verona was not added to this update.
