It’s made from pressure-sensitive conductive yarn wrapped around an aluminum frame and connected to a series of sensors as well as a smartphone app. The seat sends electrical currents through the conductive yarn to adjust the firmness, while the sensors monitor temperature, tension, pressure, along with movement to perfectly adapt to your body. It also boasts several usage modes, including massage, mealtime, and sleep. Storage pouches with smart pressure sensitive fabric can also detect if you’ve accidentally left a personal item in them.
