Move Airbus Seat Concept
Let’s face it, the slimline airplane seats being installed in airplane cabins now aren’t the most comfortable, or at least for passengers flying in economy, that is unless…you’re talking about the new Move Airbus seat concept. It’s made from pressure-sensitive conductive yarn wrapped around an aluminum frame and connected to a series of sensors as well as a smartphone app. The seat sends electrical currents through the conductive yarn to adjust the firmness, while the sensors monitor temperature, tension, pressure, along with movement to perfectly adapt to your body.

It also boasts several usage modes, including massage, mealtime, and sleep. Storage pouches with smart pressure sensitive fabric can also detect if you’ve accidentally left a personal item in them. If you need to get some work done during the flight, simply use the rotating tray table for your laptop, and there’s also optional inflight entertainment system.
