When you think of the classic NES console, a combat robot probably doesn’t come to mind. Modder Electrosync from Australia decided to transform one into just that and skip R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) altogether. This isn’t a toy, as it comes equipped with a circular saw blade, while a drone motor ensures it can become a lethal weapon if necessary.
Add a few more parts from a salvaged 3D printer, and you’ve got yourself an NES console that can easily slice through a beer can and even a watermelon. Unfortunately, a fake NES game cartridge proved to be too strong for the saw, but everything else was no issue for NESTROYER. What’s next? Electrosync plans on creating a combat robot from an old SEGA Master System game console.
