Neuralink Brain Implant Play Chess PC Games
A quadriplegic Neuralink patient, 29-year-old Nolan Arbaugh, successfully used the company’s brain implant technology to play PC games using only his mind. We can see him playing online chess, but also Civilization VI.

Put simply, the implant works by decoding the brain signals from the user and then converting them into Bluetooth-based remote commands to control an electronic device, such as a mouse cursor. In this use case, Arbaugh compared the experience to like using the Force on a cursor, enabling him to to move the cursor wherever he wanted.

The surgery was super easy. I literally was released from the hospital a day later. I have no cognitive impairments. I had basically given up playing that game [Civilization VI] you all (Neuralink) gave me the ability to do that again and played for 8 hours straight,” said Arbaugh.
