The 2023 Acura Integra has officially been unveiled, and it is going to be the gateway performance model that the company will use for their premium sport compact line. It’s also the first-ever factory-turbocharged Integra, a 1.5L VTEC engine to be more specific, mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a limited slip differential. On the exterior, it features a sloping roofline and liftback tailgate, reminiscent of its predecessors.
Finished in Indy Yellow Pearl paint as a homage to the Tye R’s Phoenix Yellow, the new Integra boasts a frameless Diamond Pentagon grille, while “Chicane” LED daytime running lights located above the Integra’s JewelEye LED headlights give it a more aggressive look. Other features include matte-finish 19-inch split-five spoke wheels and oversized Brembo high-performance brakes with color-keyed Indy Yellow calipers. Mass production is set to begin next year at the Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio in the same factory as the Acura TLX.
