Nintendo Kawaii Keychain Wii Console
Here’s a first look at Yveltal Griffin’s Nintendo Kawaii, a keychain-sized Wii console that actually works and would be perfect for travel. When paired with a similarly sized dock, the mini console offers support for four GameCube controllers, just like its real-life counterpart.

Its CNC machined anodized, laser-etched aluminum unibody will be designed to withstand drops and more, while a passive cooling system ensures the console stays cool to the touch. The first run of 30-units, each priced at $55 USD, have all been sold, but more should be coming, possibly at a slightly higher price point.

The Thundervolt connections will work like this. The 5V and GND points are through-hole connections– the wires poke through the Kawaii PCB and solder on the backside. Everything else (audio, video, controllers, usb) is wired on the rear of the mobo. Due to tight clearances, Kawaii will require a very specifically shaped OMEGA. AVEflex and my low-profile nandFlex will be mandatory,” said YveltalGriffin.
