The Nissan Hyper Urban EV concept was revealed today ahead of its public debut at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo on October 25th. Its V2H function is capable of providing power to the home, V2G allows owners to contribute surplus power to the grid to support their local community and earn money in the process.
An Intelligent Charging Management System uses an AI system that can autonomously charge vehicles and power buildings, while the interior was designed to blend in with urban living spaces. Passengers enter Hyper Urban through front and rear scissor doors, inspired by kaleidoscopic triangles. Both the instrument panel and main display can be customized according to the owner’s mood. Need to unwind? Simply fold down the front seats and fold them into the back seats to create a sofa-like, private relaxing space.

The concept also applies sustainability to vehicle lifespan, making it ideal for people conscious of the long-term value of everything they own. Hardware updates and regular software updates provide a fresh ownership experience over many years. For example, the interior can be refreshed with a new instrument panel that reflects the latest technologies and trends in graphic user interfaces,” said Nissan.
