Sometimes, you just need a mobile office when on the road, as dingy hotels or motels just won’t do. Meet the Nissan NV350 Caravan Office Pod. Rather than a traditional rear cargo area for storage, it’s been transformed into a workstation, complete with a sleek desk and chair. Want some fresh air? Simply slide the entire office pod out a few feet, or if you’re finished working, step on up to the lounge area on the roof.
There is a lawn chair-style recliner and a retractable canopy for shade up on the roof, while a one-way wrap can be pulled down for some privacy. There are plenty of power outlets for your computer(s), kitchen appliances, smartphones, tablets and more. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on if this concept will make it into production, although many shops would be able to complete this conversion right now if money is no object.
