Tech startup Nothing announced that their plan one launching phone (1), their first smartphone product, later this summer. It’s set to take on the iPhone and will run Nothing OS, built atop an open ecosystem that promises to effortlessly connect as well as integrate Nothing products and products from other world-leading brands. Simply put, it keeps the best features of pure Android, but removes everything else, right down to the bare essentials. For those interested in trying Nothing OS ahead of the phone (1) launch, a first preview will be available to download via its launcher on select smartphone models from April. However, no further details were provided about phone (1), such as pricing and specifications, but we do know that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon mobile platform.
