Straight from the factory, the McLaren Senna is already one of the fastest street-legal hypercars, but fast just wasn’t enough for Novitec. It comes standard with a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 generating 789 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, but Novitec’s maximum tune boosts those numbers to 889 horsepower and 655 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The Novitec Senna can accelerate from 0-62 mph in a mere 2.7 seconds, while a 0-124 mph sprint takes just 6.5 seconds, while topping out at 208 mph. No major modifications are made to the engine, as all three tuning levels only use the plug-and-play Novitec N-Tronic module. This device basically adapts to the Senna’s electronic engine control unit (ECU), re-maps the car’s injection / ignition, and modifies the electronic boost pressure control. When all of this is paired with the Novitec Race GTR high-performance exhaust system – two 3.7-inch pipes that can be finished in polished stainless or matte black – made of Iconel, it produces a monstrous sound you can’t forget.
