Pokemon Go Niantic Peridot Augmented Reality Game
Pokémon GO developer Niantic is set to release ‘Peridot’, an all-new real world augmented reality mobile game where players are able to care for, raise, and breed one-of-a-kind creatures straight from their smartphones or tablets. The Peridots (or Dots) are basically creatures that have been asleep for thousands of years and are now just waking up to a world vastly different from the one in which they used to roam. Read more for the first trailer and additional information.

Players will be able to raise their own Peridots who feel so real that you’ll see them grow from birth to adulthood, all the while you explore the world together. You’ll learn more about Peridots as you progress and develop a bond. There’s no word yet on a release date, but Niantic is hoping to begin their soft launch soon with beta testers selected at random from their newsletter subscribers. Who knows? It may even work with Facebook’s brain-controlled neural wristband some time in the future.
